William Thomas Dargin was born 22 May 1840 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia to James Dargin (1805-1850) and Sophia Ezzy (1807-1884) and died 2 December 1896 Georges River, New South Wales, Australia of accidental drowning.
LIVERPOOL., Wednesday
Mr. W. Dargin, late starter for the Warwick Farm Races, was found drowned in George's River this morning. It is presumed that the deceased entered the river near the course with the view of securing a boat at Schell's, on the opposite side. The body was recovered by lads at the farm, and conveyed to the residence of Mr W Forrester.
