William Capell, 3rd Earl of Essex, was born 1698 to Algernon Capell, 2nd Earl of Essex (1670-1710) and Mary Bentinck (c1679-1726) and died 8 January 1743 of unspecified causes. He married Jane Hyde (c1699-1724) 27 November 1718 . He married Elizabeth Russell (bef1711-1784) 3 February 1726 .
