Vladimir Svyatoslavich of Ryazan was born 1125 to Svyatoslav Yaroslavich of Ryazan (c1097-1145) and died 1161 of unspecified causes.
Vladimir Svyatoslavich (c1125-1161) [1][2]) - Prince of Murom , the first Grand Prince of Ryazan .
Known since the autumn of 1146, when he came to the aid of Svyatoslav Olgovich against Izyaslav Mstislavich, but was forced to flee from the Murom-Ryazan land from the army of the latter to Novgorod-Seversky [3][4]. On April 4, 1147, Prince Vladimir, together with Svyatoslav Olgovich, his son Oleg Svyatoslavich and his boyar Pyotr Ilyich arrived in Moscow with Yuri Dolgoruky [5]. In the summer of the same year he took part in the campaign of Svyatoslav Olgovich to Mtsensk .
In 1159, the troops of the Principality of Murom participated in Andrei of Bogolyubovo’s campaingtroops in support of Svyatoslav Vladimirovich of Vshchizh and his uncle Izyaslav Davydovich, who was fighting for the thrones of the Grand Principality of Kiev and the Principality of Chernigov at that time against a coalition of the Principality of Smolensk and the Principality of Halych-Volhynia,
After Vladimir's in 1161, the throne of the Grand Principality of Ryazan was taken again by his cousin Gleb Rostislavich .
