S. Prestly Blake - Dies at Age 106 - CoFounder of Friendlys Ice Cream
Stewart Prestly Blake (1914-2021) - died this week at age 106. Eagle scout who founded the famous "Friendly's Ice Cream Parlor" in Springfield, Massachusetts. This successful businessman lived to age 106.
The moment I find something new on my forefathers:
Pop - This morning was another of those special moments when you find your direct ancestor (my grandfather's grandfather) name on a historical plaque, but it is misspelled (James Rickey = James Richey). The Adair's and Mangum's on here were all immediate cousins & in-laws and they were known to arrive here together in 1857. Adair Spring Monument in Washington, Utah.
