I don't much like

Siblings of {{BASEPAGENAME}} by {{get mother|key=Article}}

. I've not looked at the code closely to see what it produces for half-siblings, but there must be an asymmetry or even omission of half-siblings by one's father.

Preferable, in my view, to show siblings from each couple headed by the parents' names, as we do for tables of children.

Display in columns - not ideal[]

Not very good on Addams Stratton McAllister (1875-1946). (He had no children from second or third wives and had no other wives.) Another argument for doing them with headings? -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 03:31, January 24, 2013 (UTC)

There's a much better one[]

Discussion elsewhere strongly urges that we use {{showfacts siblings via}} instead. What a clumsy name - especially as we may have to type or paste it on thousands of pages that have neither. -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 05:02, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
