Former duplication and current unsatisfactory vestiges Edit

Beatrice De Savoy (1214-1259) and Beatrice de Savoie (1214-1259) were both listed as common ancestors of Henry VII of England and his wife when I opened his page a few minutes ago (having edited it a few days ago to give him a concubine and her son). Both Beatrice pages redirect to this Béatrice with the different dates. Seems the "common ancestors" template doesn't do redirects. Or maybe it needs a lot of tickling by bots to get the memory of the old ancestors out of the memories of Henry and his wife. Either way, we need some improvements to the resulting displays. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 06:50, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I've just updated her sensor page. Looked again at Henry and reloaded him. It's worse than I said: he also has:

  • Béatrice de Savoie (1205-1266)
  • Béatrix de Savoie (1198-1266)
