Sussex Lennox was born 11 June 1802 to Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond (1764-1819) and Charlotte Gordon (1768-1842) and died 12 April 1874 of unspecified causes. He married Mary Margaret Lawless (1804-) 3 April 1828 .
