"Mr. and Mrs. Lindauer and their 14 children, Watsontown RD 1, were winners of a contest at the Milton Capitol Theater. The movie, 'Ma and Pa Kettle' played at the theater and manager Warren Girton who staged the contest, the prize to go to the largest family in the area. The Lindauer family were guests at the theater, they had a free taxi ride and were treated with ice cream afterwards."

He died on November 24, 1974 in Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Funeral notice[]

Stanley L. Lindauer. Funeral services for Stanley L. Lindauer, Watsontown RD 2, who died Monday in the Evangelical hospital, were conducted at 1 pm Wednesday at the Barr Funeral Service, Watsontown. Officiating was the Rev. John L. Herbster, retired pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ. Interment was made in the Watstintown cemetery. Carriers were Steven Merrick, Ira Ranck, Michael Hill, Stanley Lindauer, David Reibsome and Wayne Croft.
