Sarah Scott was born on March 3, 1779 in New York to John Scott and Mehitable Cary. She married Thomas Evans in 1799. They lived in Plymounty, Pennsylvania in the mid-1800s. Sarah died on December 14, 1852. She is buried in North Side Cemetery, Geneseo, Illinois.
