Sarah Butler was born 31 July 1787 in Ireland to Henry Thomas Butler, 2nd Earl of Carrick (1746-1813) and Sarah Taylor (c1756-1841) and died 7 July 1838 Ireland of unspecified causes. She married Charles Harward Butler (1780-1860) 12 October 1812 .
There is a family story that she was the mother of Elizabeth Marks (c1812-1890).
