She married Sidney Herbert Blackman (1868-1929) 28 July 1898 in Coonabarabran, New South Wales, Australia.

The death occurred in St. Luke's Hospital, Sydney last week of Mrs. Sarah Ann Blackman (81), formerly of Wattle Springs, Coonabarabran who has been a respected resident of that district for the whole of her life.
The deceased was born at Tannabah and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Knight, early pioneer settlers of the district.
She married Sidney Herbert Blackman at Coonabarabran in 1898 and resided at Yarragrin Station, Mendooran, for a number of years before shifting to Wattle Springs, where she resided until the time of her death.
Both her husband and one daughter predeceased her, and Mrs. Blackman is survived by four sons and two daughters. The daughters are Mrs. John Harte (Brisbane), and Mrs. T. W. Bell ( Merrygoen). The sons are Gordon (Avon Hills, Coonabarabran), Roy (USA), Keith (Belougerie, Warrumbungles) and Douglas (Sydney).
