Ronald Albert Wilkinson was born 1879 in Carrowbrook, New South Wales, Australia to Duncan Wilkinson (1845-1918) and Betsy Hoad (1846-1920) and died 6 August 1944 Buchanan, New South Wales, Australia of heart trouble. He married Myra Avery (1901-1993) 9 April 1925 in East Maitland, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
The death occurred at Buchanan, near Maitland, on Sunday night of Mr. Ronald Albert ("Abb.") Wilkinson, aged 65 years, from heart trouble. Deceased was born at Carrowbrook, being the fourth son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Wilkinson. He followed the occupations of a carpenter and painter, and worked in Maitland and Kurri districts, where he won and retained the esteem and respect of a large circle of friends. He is survived by Mrs Wilkinson and a daughter, Miss Joan Wilkinson, both of Buchanan; also by six brothers and four sisters, viz., Messrs. Hector (Singleton), Jack (Singleton), Ben. (Graceville, Q.), Reg. (Toowoomba, Q.), Fred. (Tambourine, Q.), Wal. (Mittagong), Miss Clara Wilkinson (Singleton), Miss Sabina Wilkinson (Maitland), Mrs. W. Jarrett (Maitland), and Mrs. J. Vaughan (Speers Point). The deepest sympathy is extended to the family and relatives. The funeral, which was attended by a large number of mourners, took place yesterday afternoon, the remains being interred in the Methodist cemetery at Mulbring.
