Sir Robert Gresley, 11th Bt. was born on 1 February 1866. He was the son of Sir Thomas Gresley, 10th Bt. and Laura Anne Williams.2 He married Lady Frances Louisa Spencer-Churchill (1870-1954), daughter of George Charles Spencer-Churchill, 8th Duke of Marlborough (1844-1892) and Lady Albertha Frances Anne Hamilton, on 6 June 1893.1 He died on 27 December 1936 at age 70.
He gained the title of 11th Baronet Gresley. He held the office of High Sheriff of Derbyshire.2
