Isabella had been told by her father that she had been born in Sydney (information that today is able to be verified from a baptismal record). Rebecaa's son Herbert was able to provide this correct information for the place of birth of Isabella at her death in 1911. From what Rebecca had learnt from her father about her own birth, she had told her family that she was born at Goulburn.
