Pyhältö is

1) a lake and a region in the northern Vehkalahti district, now a part of the town of Hamina, in southeastern Finland. In addition to the village of Pyhältö, the region contains the village of Turkia and the settlements of Lankila, Uskila and Jääskilä.

2) a rural village in the bank of abovesaid lake, in the recently-enlarged town of Hamina in south-eastern Finland, this village being the oldest and central settlement in the Pyhältö region.
