Research Notes
It does look like Samuel T Smith (1714-1785) married two girls, cousins of the same name, Priscilla Gould (1707-1744) and Priscilla Gould (1714-1797). It is not known if there were any children from the second union.
Samuel's first wife was Priscilla Gould, daughter of Zaccheus Gould. She died in 1744, possibly from complications of childbirth after her son Asael's birth.
Samuel's second wife, also a Priscilla Gould, was a cousin of this Priscilla, as she was the daughter of Joseph Gould, Zaccheus' brother. The second Priscilla is listed in town records as dying 27 May 1797.
