Power County, Idaho is part of the 'Pocatello Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses all of Bannock and Power counties of Idaho. The county seat is American Falls6.
Power County was created by the Idaho Legislature on January 30, 1913 by a partition of Cassia County. It is named for the American Falls Power Plant.
