The Phoenix Tool is a basic phasing tool in the Borland Genetics toolkit.

Phoenix is used to reconstruct a partial or full phased parent kit using relatives all on the same side the family as the reconstruction target. The tool operates similarly to the GEDmatch Lazarus tool in that it isolates segments of shared DNA between the subject donor and the relative donors. However, the tool limits the user to a single subject donor, and the output is fundamentally different than the output of the Lazarus tool, in that the output is mono and can therefore be combined with DNA from contributors from within a sibling clade, resulting in increased coverage and/or resolution when reconstructing a common target.
