Permelia Adair Searle was born 27 June 1837 in Fulton, Clarke County, Alabama to Samuel Jefferson Adair (1806-1889) and Jemima Catherina Mangum (1809-1848) and died 16 December 1883 Dry Fork, Uintah County, Utah Territory of unspecified causes. She married John R Holden (1828-) 31 December 1849 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. She married Charles Decatur Searle (1836-1909) 25 December 1855 in Payson, Utah County, Utah.

Biography

In Pickens County, Alabama their family joined the Moscow 1845 LDS Branch of the young LDS Church. Pemelia married first at a LDS Camp in Iowa to John Holden (who since disappeared) with no children. She then married Charles Searle on Christmas Day 1855 in Payson Utah.
