Owen George Chapman was born 19 July 1872 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia to William John Chapman (1845-1919) and Grace Cavanough (1849-1928) and died 20 July 1901 Wyong, New South Wales, Australia of pneumonia.
Obituary
Owen George Chapman, son of Mr. W. J. Chapman, coroner and returning officer of the Northumberland Electorate, died last night from pneumonia after seven days' illness. Deceased was well known in business and commercial circles, and was respected by all who knew him. His illness was brought on by a bad cold and exposure. He was considerably better on Friday, but collapsed on Friday night, and died at 6 o'clock on Saturday. Sympathy is expressed on all sides for the bereaved parents, who have lost a son of exceptional ability and promise at the early age of 29 years.
