He married ca. 1699 Alice Freeman (1673-1756), born probably Eastham; died Harwich as 'Widow Merrick' 24 Dec 1756; dau. of Samuel and Mercy (Southworth) Freeman. She was admitted to the Brewster Church 12 Sept. 1725.
