Biography
Moses Cheney, son of Edmund Cheney (1696-1761) and Mary Plummer (1694-1748), was born in Newbury MA on 26 Nov 1715, and died that part of Newbury called Byfield, 21 Feb 1759. He married 23 Oct 1740 to Sarah Shiton of Rowley.
On 18 Dec 1754 he bought a house and tract of land in Byfield. Of his childre, the first was born in Newbury and the otherw were baptized in Byfield.
