Morton Leslie Rudder was born 22 September 1884 in Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia to Enoch Rudder (1830-1926) and Eliza Perrin (1842-1925) and died 8 July 1912 Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes.

We are sorry to note that Mr. Morton Rudder, son of Mr. Enoch Rudder, of Oaklands, met on Monday with an exceedingly painful accident that may possibly result in permanent injury. He seems, while driving one of those rolling knife stalk-cutters, to have slipped on a corn stalk and got the roller so severely over one of his legs that Dr. Arnold found the sufferer had sustained a compound comminuted fracture in the vicinity of the ankle. Mr. Rudder is now being treated at the Macleay District Hospital.
