The Missing Parent Tool is a basic phasing tool in the Borland Genetics toolkit.

The tool serves as a quick workflow to reconstruct the DNA of an unavailable parent by phasing the DNA of an available parent with the DNA of as many children of the couple as resources permit. Since each child of the target represents a distinct sibling clade, the resulting output of the “Missing Parent” tool is Stereo rather than Mono.
