After an illness extending over the past 12 months, the death occurred at her residence, Sterne Street, on Friday morning, of Mrs. Mary Jane Simpson, aged 82 years. A native of Windellama, Mrs. Simpson had lived in the Goulburn district all her life, coming here to reside some 20 years ago. She was particularly well known in the Windellama district. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Lester (Boro), Mrs. L. Woods (Wollongong), Mrs. T. Crieghton (Leichhardt), Mrs. S. McGregor (Goulburn), and Mrs. E. J. Turner (Goulburn); and two sons, Williams Roberts (Windellama) and Thomas Simpson (Goulburn). The funeral left Craig's Parlours at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday for the Church of England Cemetery, Winidellama.
