She married Alexander Hutchinson Barr (c1850-1924) 1877 in Young, New South Wales, Australia.

Death claimed another old Grenfell resident on Tuesday night, when Mrs. Alex. Barr died in her sleep, deceased having suffered from heart complaint for some time. Only recently she also suffered a very sad bereavement in the sudden death of her son, the late Mr. Fred. Barr. Deceased lady was 76 years of age.
The Barr family came from Murrumburrah in 1882, and took up land at Iandra, Warrangong and Arramagong. The families prospered, and are among the most respected in the Grenfell district.
Surviving children of the late Mrs. Barr are Mrs. Luthje (Grenfell), Mrs. D. Duncan (Sydney), Mrs. Richens (Young), Mrs. Barrett (Orange), Mrs Bush (Forbes). Mrs. D. Gibb (Weddin). Daughters, who predecased her were Mrs. J. Molloy [Malloy] and Mrs. Jas. Short. Sons living are: Messrs. James Barr (Myall Park, Grenfell) and Alex. Barr (Cowra), the sons predeceasing her being Messrs. Jack and Fred. Barr. Her husband died eleven years ago.
Sisters of deceased lady are Mrs. E. Matthews (Grenfell) and Mrs. Lehnane (Young). The late Mr. A. L. Goodsell was a brother.
The late Mrs. Barr was a charming personality and had a very wide circle of friends who will regret her passing.
The funeral will leave the Presbyterian Church this morning, follow ing a service at 10.15.
