Mary may be a daughter of the Burton Smith who lived on Indian Creek in Monroe County. She married Michael Miller on February 24, 1791, bore him 9 children, was probably buried next to him in the Miller-Halstead Cemetery and may be in the grave marked H.C. Miller 1827.
