Mary Elizabeth Piatt (1902-2004) was a centenarian, she lived to be over 100 years old. She worked for the Manhattan Shirt Company. She had the following siblings: Floyd Piatt (c1889-1939) who married Anna C. Herman (1897-1983); Millard Elisha Piatt (1892-1973) who married his cousin Marion Piatt (1896-1978); Frederick Gilbert Piatt (1899-?); Roy Earl Piatt (c1900-?); and Cora Ann Piatt (1909-1987).

"Mrs. Mary E. Skinner of Westbrookville, NY, retired from Manhattan Shirt Company, Middletown and lifetime area resident, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Belle Reve, Milford, Pennsylvania. She was 101. She was born August 13, 1902 in Cuddebackville, NY the daughter of the late John and the late Marietta Clark Piatt. She was the widow of Ernestus Skinner; he died October 25, 1958. She was a member of the Westbrookville United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society of the Church; also a former member of the Westbrookville Seniors. Surviving are: son: Ernestus F. Skinner & his wife, Betty Port Orange, NY. 4 grandchildren: Lee E. VanNess & his wife, Irene Westbrookville, NY. Mary Skinner Marra Catasauqua, PA. Ernestus 'Buddy' Skinner in Port Orange, NY. Richard Skinner & his wife, Debbie in Cuddebackville, NY. Several Great-grandchildren & Great-great-grandchildren. A niece, Lillian Flieger & her husband, Bill in Cuddebackville, predeceased daughter & son-in-law: Audrey & Clarence 'Ed' VanNess. Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis on Thursday, July 1, 2004 2: - 4: & 7: - 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Westbrookville United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Westbrookville Cemetery, Westbrookville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westbrookville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 242, Westbroookville, NY 12785."
