Laura Lillian McGuirk was born 15 August 1902 in Bigga, New South Wales, Australia to Daniel Thomas McGuirk (1862-1922) and Mary Ellen Robertson (1875-1945) and died 17 April 1947 Goulburn District Hospital, Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. She married Morton Picker (1898-1962) 30 November 1921 in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
The death occurred at the Goulburn District Hospital yesterday of Mrs. Laura Picker, aged 44 years, wife of Mr Morton Picker, of Bigga.
Deceased was born at Bigga and was married at Goulburn.
She had been a resident of Bigga for the past 25 years and identified herself with the Red Cross and tennis circles.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Melville, and daughter. Marie. Other relatives are: Brothers, Jim McGuirk (Bigga), Harold (Sydney), Eric (Sydney) and Leo (Sydney); sisters Mrs Sam Picker and Mrs. Caldwell (Sydney).
The remains will leave W. E. Jones' mortuary at 12.30 p.m. to-morrow for interment in the Bigga cemetery at 4 p.m.
