Junius Spencer Morgan was born 14 April 1813 in Holyoke, Hampden County, Massachusetts, United States to Joseph Morgan (1780-1847) and Sarah Spencer (1787-1859) and died 8 April 1890 Monte Carlo, Monaco of injuries sustained in a carriage accident. He married Juliet Pierpont (1816-1884) 2 May 1836 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States.
