A well-known resident of many years' standing passed away on Friday last, in the person of Mr. Joseph Hall, at the age of 72 years. The old gentleman was a resident of these parts until about 18 months ago, when he removed to Sydney. In early life the late Mr. Hall was associated with the farming industry, and latterly engaged in tin mining pursuits. His wife predeceased him 26 years ago. He leaves a grown-up family of four sons and four daughters— Harry (Sydney), Alf. (Elsmore), Sid. (Inverell), Joe (Gravesend), Mrs. F. Bakon (Inverell), Mrs. A. Moore (Inverell), Mrs. F. Dolling (Sydney), and Mrs. A. Kermond (Sydney). Deceased was a brother of Mr. John Hall, Bundarra road.
