Death of Mr John Goodwin.

Mr. John Goodwin died at the residence of his, daughter, Mrs. J. L. Ryan, O'Connell-street, East Maitland, on Thursday. The late Mr. Goodwin, who was 84 years of age, was a native of the Wollombi district. He had been living in East Maitland for about 18 years, and was predeceased by his wife by 12 months. He is survived by eight children. They are Messrs. John Goodwin (Branxton), George Goodwin (Paterson), Thomas Goodwin (Telarah), Mesdames Miles (West Maitland), Ryan (East Maitland), Ekert (Homeville), Cracker (Dudley) and Bridge (Telarah). The funeral took place this afternoon, moving from Mrs. Ryan's residence, for the East Maitland cemetery.
