Biography

Captain John Fay, eldest child of John Fay the Immigrant, was a prominent figure in the civic affairs of Marlboro MA and united with the church there in 1706.

Early Settler of Westboro

He resided in that part of Marlboro which in 1717 was incorporated as Westboro MA and in 1718 was chosen its first town clerk, holding office for eleven years.

He held many other offices including selectman, treaasurer, assessor and captain of the militia in 1721.
