John Faunce was born circa 1600 in England and died 29 November 1653 Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Patience Morton (1614-1691) 1635 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
1623 Voyage to America
He was a passenger on the English ship Anne, which sailed from London in April, 1623, bound for Plymouth Colony. The ship was one of two to arrive safely that year and would remain in local waters to help with fishing and other chores.
John Faunce is listed #56 on the 1623 Plymouth Land Census alongside his brother Manassah, who probably sailed with him.
