Deacon John Barnes was born 25 December 1666 in Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Thomas Barnes (1636-1679) and Abigail Goodenow (1642-1678) and died 5 April 1752 Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Hannah Howe (1677-1742) 1689 in Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

Biography

He was a deacon of Rev. Mr. Breck's church. Was a member of Samuel Morrill's Garrison at Fort Meadow in Indian War, 1711-13.
