John Adams was born 1584 in Shropshire, England to William Adams (1555-1624) and Elizabeth Alice Borrington (1557-1625) and died 11 January 1633 Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Eleanor Newton (1598-1681) 1623 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

Biography

After the death of John Adams, his widow married Kenelm Winslow (1599-1672). Later Adams families of Plymouth are probably not descendant from this family but most likely from the family of Francis Adams that arrived here much later.
