John was naturalized in Lynn Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania on September 24, 1762. He appears on tax lists in the same county in 1761 and 1779. On August 26 1777 John along with his sons John Jr. and Daniel took the oath of allegiance again in the same county. He appears in the 1790 Federal Census in Lynn Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
