Johann Kasimir zu Salm-Kyrburg was born 6 July 1577 in Kyrburg to Otto I. zu Salm-Kyrburg (1545-1607) and Ottilie von Nassau-Weilburg (1546-c1607) and died 4 February 1651 in Kyrburg of unspecified causes. He married Dorothea zu Solms-Laubach (1579-1631) 17 May 1607 in Laubach. He married Anna Juliane von Leiningen-Dagsburg-Hartenburg (1599-1685) 1633 .
