Jean I d'Alençon, duc d'Alençon, comte de Perche, was born 9 May 1385 in Château d'Essay, Essay, France to Pierre II d'Alençon (1340-1404) and Marie Chamaillard (c1345-1425) and died 25 October 1415 at the Battle of Agincourt of unspecified causes. He married Marie de Bretagne (1391-1446) 26 June 1396 JL .
