The death occurred at his residence, Binda, on August 9, of Mr. James Elvins, aged 81 years. The late Mr. Elvins was a well-known figure at Binda and was respected throughout the district.
His wife predeceased him about three years. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. F. McGuirk (Yass). Mrs. G. Hudd (Burwood), and Mrs. E. Cramp; and three sons, Matthew, Henry and George, of Binda. There are also six brothers and two sisters.
