Biography

James Douglas, 2nd Duke of Queensberry, 1st Duke of Dover, was born 18 December 1672 to William Douglas, 1st Duke of Queensberry (1637-1695) and Isabel Douglas (c1642-1691) and died 6 July 1711 of unspecified causes. He married Mary Boyle (c1664-1709) 1 December 1685 .
