Obituary

MR. J. A. ARNDELL.

Another Hawkesbury native passed suddenly away last Sunday at his residence, Glen Dhu, Blandford, in the person of James Andrew Arndell, a former resident and native of Caddai.

Deceased was the youngest son of the late Mr Thomas Arndell, of Caddai, and was brother to Mr Thomas Arndell of the same locality, and Mr Geo Arndell, of Blandford. The family is one of the oldest in the district, deceased's late father being born in the Hawkesbury. Deceased carried on farming pursuits here for some years with his brothers, but after the '67 flood, when the farmers suffered so heavily, he left with his brother George to try his fortune elsewhere, and chose the Muswellbrook district, where they went in for sheep-farming. Deceased was related to the Hall family, and was buried at Murrurundi on Tuesday last. He had attained the age of 62 years.
