Isaac Deeks was born in 1674 in Glemsford. 2 Isaac Deeks were baptised that year, probably cousins. One was son of Johannis and Anne one the son of Isaac and Marie. The one who wed Ann Prick seems to be the one who was the son of John and Ann as the other Isaac was mentioned in his uncle Thomas Gardiner's will in 1707 as being of Glemsford. Whereas this Isaac lived in Stanstead from at least 1698 to his 1715 death.
Also, other trees say that the Deeks line of Barbara Windsor, former EastEnders actress, come from Glemsford originally before moving to Bures in about 1720. Need to try and verify this.
