Gravestone at Solomon Angell Lot in Providence RI.

Transciption from Gravestone:

Sacred to the Memory of Mr. Hiram Angell who died of Apoplexy Sept. 7, 1829, in his 23d year. His premature demise is lamented by his relations and acquaintance, as he had endeared himself to them by an affectionate and upright course, which seemed to promise future usefulness

"Heaven gives us friends to bless the present scene Resumes them to prepare us for the next."

In human hearts what bolder thoughts can rise Than man's presumption on tomorrows dawn? Where is tomorrow? In another world. For numbers this is certain; the reverse is sure to none.
