On Wednesday of last week, Mrs. W. Francis of the Royal Standard Hotel, Burrowa, received the sad intelligence concerning the death of her father, Mr. Henry Alfred Croft, who died in his sleep at his residence, 124 Nelson Street, Annandale. The deceased was lately seized with a paralytic stroke, and from then had been in indifferent health, although he was quite well the day before his death. The late Mr. Croft was formerly a resident of Trundle, and previous to that of Wagga. He waa a well-known sport in the early days, and at many times visited Burrowa with his racehorses. He was 70 years of age at the time of his death, and leaves a wife and family of two sons and ten daughters to mourn their loss. Mrs. J. T. Fleeting, formerly of Binalong, was a daughter.
