Biography
Henrietta Hyde was born circa 1677 in Hindon, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom to Laurence Hyde, 1st Earl of Rochester (c1642-1711) and Henrietta Boyle (c1646-1687) and died 30 May 1730 of unspecified causes. She married James Scott (1674-1705) 2 January 1694 .
John Evelyn called her "the wittiest of her sex"; other friends said that she retained the charm of youth even when she was well over fifty.
