Display
Edit
Each box that contains any text is indicated by a symbol (such as an asterisk or dagger) where the event is listed and the text appears near the bottom of the page (in the {{footer}} portion of the form) headed by the symbol and a label.
Although the boxes are separately labeled on the form, their eventual display does not distinguish between notes and sources. It may therefore be wise to prefix a source with "Source: " to clarify.
The first note in each box will display with a bullet point in front of it. Later paragraphs will follow normal wikitext practice with bullets, colons, etc.
A paragraph unrelated to the previous paragraph is best distinguished by the insertion of "<new note>", which wil automatically start a new paragraph even if there is no space or other character each side of it.
Prohibited tags
Edit
Source and note boxes can contain most types of wikitext but must not contain certain characters such as "pre" or cite or reference tags, which will cause the whole note to be invisible (although the references may appear under their appropriate heading as normal). Material with references and similar footnote indicators should instead be placed in the "free text" area (the big box near the bottom of the form).
