Hans-Heinrich Sixt von Armin (6 November 1890 – 1 April 1952) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded several divisions. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hans-Heinrich Sixt von Armin was captured in 1943 during the Battle of Stalingrad and died in Soviet captivity on 1 April 1952.
