George Underwood Alley was born 1801 in County Limerick, Ireland to John Alley (bef1801) and Jane Anne Underwood (bef1801) and died 24 June 1879 Red Bank Araluen, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Catherine Amelia Dods-Smith (1812-1890) 1830 in Dublin, Ireland.
He arrived in New South Wales on the City of Edinburgh on 12 December 1838 with his wife and children.
