George married Mary Ann Clarke, daughter of William Clarke and Anne Cribb, at Wagga Wagga, Rock, Mrs Vincent’s Farm on 21 Jul 1865 in Wagga Wagga, Wynyard County, New South Wales. After Mary died he married Mary Shannahan in in Murrumburrah.
